  • S H Ho Associate Professor of Life Science in Division of Life Science at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
  • Research interests include aging, muscle stem cells, single particle / molecule / cell studies, muscular dystrophy, and stem cell biology
  • RFS project — to explore the regulation of adult stem cell quiescence and activation through translational control, examine the translational control mechanisms that govern MuSC quiescence and exit, and investigate how dysregulation of their associated pathways contributes to MuSC aging. Completing this project will provide insights into the translational control mechanisms governing MuSC functions and highlight novel therapeutic targets to protect MuSCs against aging for better tissue health
