Biography
- Associate Professor in the Department of Geography at Hong Kong Baptist University
- Research interests focus on the changes, and mechanisms of water cycle and hydrometeorological extremes (e.g. heavy precipitation, floods, droughts, and heat events) under climate change and human activities
- RFS project — to couple traditional and non-traditional data to study intra-urban hydrometeorological extremes, and to identify non-traditional datasets that have potential for studying intra-urban hydrometeorological extremes, and extract useful information of extremes from non-traditional data with quality control
- Awards and Honours:
- RGC Research Fellow (2022)
- HKBU President’s Award for Outstanding Performance as Young Researcher (2019)
- Heywood Young Scientists Award (2017)
