Biography

  • Associate Professor in the Department of Geography at Hong Kong Baptist University
  • Research interests focus on the changes, and mechanisms of water cycle and hydrometeorological extremes (e.g. heavy precipitation, floods, droughts, and heat events) under climate change and human activities
  • RFS project — to couple traditional and non-traditional data to study intra-urban hydrometeorological extremes, and to identify non-traditional datasets that have potential for studying intra-urban hydrometeorological extremes, and extract useful information of extremes from non-traditional data with quality control
