姜里文博士于2000年作为生物学助理教授加入香港中文大学（中大），于2007年升任为教授。姜教授现任生命科学学院卓敏生命科学教授、研资局卓越学科领域细胞器生物合成及功能研究中心主任以及细胞及发育生物学研究中心主任。

姜教授研究团队在中大从事蛋白质转运、植物细胞器生物发生和功能的内在机制的研究已有21年，被国际公认为该领域的领先团队。其教学和科研成果多次获奖，包括一次理学院模范教学奖（2008）、三次中大研究卓越奖（2006-07， 2009-10，2015-16）、两次裘槎基金会优秀科研者奖（2009-10，2015-16）、三次国家教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖（2009，2013，2017）、理学院杰出学人（2013）、卓敏生命科学教授（2014）和最近的2021/22年度研资局高级研究学者计划。

在研资局高级研究学者计划项目中，我们旨在结合包括先进三维透射电子显微镜和冷冻电子断层扫描技术在内的细胞与分子生物学等方法阐明萌发的花粉管中不同尖端囊泡的本质、特性及功能。
