郑子剑教授目前是香港理工大学纺织及服装学系教授,智能穿戴系统研究院副院长,及材料与器件中心实验室副院长。郑教授2003年于清华大学获得化工学士学位,2007年于剑桥大学获得化学博士学位(导师:Wilhelm T. S. Huck教授),2008-2009在美国西北大学国际纳米中心Chad A. Mirkin教授课题组从事博士后研究员工作。2009年加入香港理工大学任职助理教授,2013年提职终身副教授,2017年提职教授。其科研兴趣包括表面及高分子科学、纳米制造、柔性穿戴电子、能源转换及储备。其中,被广泛认可的原创性研究成果包括纤维金属材料、应用于可拉伸穿戴的透气电子、高性能柔性光电电极材料及其器件、纤维基超级电容器及电池。郑教授在《科学》、《自然材料》《自然通讯》《先进材料》等高影响的国际期刊发表论文140余篇,在国际会议上做邀请报告150余次。他是《先进材料》和《Small》的客座编辑,是Wiley出版社聚焦绿色能源与环境旗舰期刊《EcoMat》的主编,是《先进能原材料》和《npj柔性电子》的编辑委员会成员。郑教授还撰写了25项专利,并获得超过15个学术奖项。他是香港青年科学院创院科学家,及中国教育部长江讲座教授。
