黄聿毕业于复旦大学上海医学院,1988年在英国剑桥大学获得博士学位,之后在美国佛蒙特大学和加州大学洛杉矶分校进行博士后研究。黄聿现为香港中文大学生物医学A3教授,心脑血管研究所所长。他长期致力于心血管领域的研究。他曾任三届亚洲血管生物学会主席(2010-2018),现任国际心脏研究学会中国分会副主席,中国血管医学专委会副主任委员,中国病理生理学会理事,以及国际基础与临床药理学联合会受体命名和药物分类委员会的通讯委员。他兼任17份SCI期刊的编辑, 副主编和编委,包括美国心脏学会的<循环研究> 在亚洲区的副主编。 2019年他被推选为国际心脏研究学会首批中国籍会士之一。他曾获得香港裘槎基金会裘槎优秀科研者奖,中国国家自然科学奖二等奖,以及教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖 (2019年度自然科学奖一等奖, 2017年度二等奖)。他的团队目前正在努力揭示运动对肥胖和糖尿病动物的血管保护作用的新分子机制和信号交互调节。旨在寻找运动期间促进器官间功能联系的信号蛋白和代谢产物并且将它们研发成有诊断意义的生物标志物以及针对心血管和代谢性疾病的有效治疗靶点。
