于欣格教授开发了新型柔性电子与生物集成电子,设计采用功能材料开发柔性功能的系统与集成电子在医疗健康领域里的应用,在柔性电子与器件的领域已经取得了突破性的成绩,相关的工作可以被应用于生物医学的相关领域中。于欣格教授开发了一种轻柔、类皮肤、无线的触觉回馈系统,该系统可以将传统的听觉和视觉虚拟实境(VR)技术扩展多触觉的感知。该系统也被称作“皮肤VR”,对电子器件通过无线操控,可以产生机械振动的触觉。基于先进的设计,这种超薄皮肤集成的触觉回馈系统被制备成皮肤一样的形态并可以舒适的贴附在身体的各个部位。利用诸如手机、平板电脑和笔记本等触控式萤幕介面可以无线的控制皮肤VR的触觉驱动,并将相应对应的形状力度等触觉感知资讯传递到佩戴者身上。例如,皮肤VR的佩戴者可以感受到来自萤幕另一端亲朋好友的触摸。同时,于欣格教授团队还将皮肤集成电子扩展到了人机交互界面中,用于控制机器人以及感受机器人的反馈从而实现机器人VR系统。此系统在人机交互下的机器人操控,手术以及护理上都展示了巨大的应用潜力。
