Kerry Holdings Professor in Law (since 2017), Director and co-founder of the Asian Institute of International Financial Law at The University of Hong Kong
Leads the development of Introduction to FinTech – launched with edX in May 2018 and now with over 80,000 learners spanning every country in the world
Advises on financial sector development projects around the world, as an advisor to the United Nations (UN), World Bank, Asian Development Bank, APEC, Alliance for Financial Inclusion and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
SRFS project — to investigate how the global digital transformation of finance and its regulation, as well as the potential of FinTech and regulatory technology (RegTech) can – and more importantly, should – promote sustainable inclusive development, in terms of each of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Douglas Arner是嘉里基金教授(法學), 香港大學亞洲國際金融法研究院主任, 合規和監管碩士課程主任, 公司與金融法碩士課程主任, 法律,革新,技術與創業能力(LITE)課程主任。2011年至2014年擔任香港大學法學系系主任，2005年至2016年擔任杜克大学-香港大學的亞美跨國法研究所聯席主任。Douglas出版了18本書, 發表了200多篇文章,內容是關於國際金融法和法規。近期著作是與Ross Buckley和Emilios Avgouleas合著的“Reconceptualising Global Finance and its Regulation” 及與Janos Barberis和Ross Buckley合著的“The RegTech Book”。Douglas著作在社會科學研究網(SSRN)被下載量是世界排名前75名作家,其文章可在https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/cf_dev/AbsByAuth.cfm?per_id=524849下載。2018年5月, 在他領導下開辦了Introduction to FinTech網上課程,目前全球有超過80,000名學習者。他是墨爾本大學法學院的高級訪問學者,CFTE的顧問委員會成員。2013年至2019年曾擔任香港金融發展局的首任成員，並於世界銀行,亞洲開發銀行,亞太經濟合作組織,金融普惠聯盟,歐洲復興開發銀行擔任顧問一職。他致力講學,聯合開辦研討會和講座,並參與世界各地的金融改革項目。他在杜克大學，哈佛大學，香港貨幣及金融研究中心，以色列赫茲利亞跨學科研究中心，麥基爾大學，墨爾本大學，新加坡國立大學，新南威爾士大學，上海財經大學和蘇黎世大學擔任客座教授或研究員。
